Shouldn't be an issue. I have to ask - have I seen you being active on the League of Augsburg message boards? I've been loitering with intent ever since I got my hands on a copy of Beneath the Lily Banner a couple of weeks ago.

Oh, and did I mention I bought a couple of "Battalion Packs" of Front Rank (treason!) So...Greg,

To start with, I'm painting 10-man units. So far for infantry I've painted 60 Sepoys, 30 Egyptians, 30 Sudanese, 40 Pathan Jezails, 40 Pathan Swords. I've got about 90 Zulus primed, but unpainted.

For mounted units, I've 10 Arab Camelmen and 10 Egyptian Lancers. I've almost finished the 20 Bengal Lancers and I'm more than halfway on 10 Guides.

In addition, I've got some artillerymen and various guns plus a number of British Officers (both mounted and afoot).

I'm debating doubling the size of units to the "Sword and Flame" standard of 20 . . . but I'm not sure that I'll do that.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595975572873838050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15312232.post-89631690980105489612008-06-05T07:20:00.000+10:002008-06-05T07:20:00.000+10:00Yes, I use a gloss varnish because I feel it's qui...Yes, I use a gloss varnish because I feel it's quite hard-wearing. I have tried using a satin varnish over the top of that to take the extreme shine off. Flash photography in the evening seems to put it right back on, though.

I really ought to try and get a bit more daytime shooting done.

Jim - thanks, the hat took a fair while to get "just right". I am still getting used to the qualities of GreenStuff and am always looking to improve my technique.

Jeff, what unit-sizes are you building up to?Bloggeratorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15501347647235993401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15312232.post-4012232019639237652008-06-05T05:27:00.000+10:002008-06-05T05:27:00.000+10:00Nicely done.
