Consider if you will the following:
N P P P P P N
MMMMMM P D P D P MMMMMM GG
MMMMMM P O E O P MMMMMM GG
N = NCO
M = Musketeer
P = Pikeman
O = Officer
E = Ensign
D = Drummer
G = Grenadier
I'd base the musketeers on 4, six figure bases and the pike block on a single base. The grenadiers would be off on their own ready to be stuck in some Folorn Hope.

What figures might you employ (hypothetically speaking of course)?

Either the Preece HE collection or the 17th C Willies.

Did you see Peter Young's organisation at this link-

albeit for ECW?
Have you thought about using 20mm Les Higgins?
Alan
Hi Alan,
Yes, and it's indirectly inspired this little setup.
Many thanks,
Greg
Nice idea for a late 17C regiment.
I'm using a similar setup for 1750'ish, but with small number of musketeers

Hi Alan,
Nice setup.
Have you had a look at beneath the lily banner?
That would be something like this:
PPP
MMMPPPMMM
MMMEOEMMM
Or something like it.
