A rare view from inside the Shedio of some Pathans. I had these a while ago from John P and painted them up last year on a whim. Mostly Stadden with a couple of Willies on the extreme right of the picture. One of those is a re-purposed Saxon.
There are another ten that are at about the 80% mark.
Things are starting to some together, I feel.
Tomorrow I ought to have a few Cavalrymen to put up.

Aargh! That's where I put them.
Amazing isn't it anyone would say the Stadden were the better figure but when you paint them the Willie just spring into a different dimension. If only they were still made pewter so the arms could be bent into shape.
Heh, heh, heh...
The Staddens look wooden by comparison. I suppose it depends on what you are doing. If you want that 'Traditional Toy Soldier' look then they are perfect. For all other purposes however...
I still bend my Willie arms; just very carefully using padded needle nosed pliers.

Wow! The figures are simply flying from beneath your paintbrush. Lovely work as always.

Thanks Stokes.
To be fair, though I did paint them over a few days in June last year!
