Yes, I do. If only all wargames figures were thus clean and elegant and easy to paint. It is not often that you come across a figure that was such a pleasure to paint.
I'll try for a better photo tonight.
*Thinks to himself* You know, if you tossed away the hand-spontoon part, you could put together a nice standard-bearer...

Greg,
Do you think so? Well, there's only one way to find out for sure.
Maybe that jolly red-coated fellow will bring you some.

Although the Stadden standard bearer has a cast flag, it's easily cut off and replaced with brass wire and paper flag, so I'd recommend it.
That is a superb figure - but it must tower over your RSMs? Stadden 30s are usually about 35mm ?
Certainly a nicely posed figure, with potential to convert to standard bearer.
Looks like I'll have to get some Staddens, perhaps for one of my Guard Battalions

In no particular order:
Yes, they do tower rather over the RSMs. I may have to have a Stadden Brigade. What a thought!
I will be defacing my Stadden Standard bearer as you suggest AndyM
Tidders, painting them will be a rewarding experience for you and will I hope ensure the continuing longevity of these superb figures.
Jeff, I may (and will!) get out my own red coat today.
The Stadden march attack pose is nearly identical to the RSM march attack. Hezzlewood was obviously influenced by Mr. Stadden. So I think that you will enjoy these very much.
They are also becoming more affordable when I note that some Australian manufacturwers are charging $AU2.75 per mini! When I put that with the current strength of the Australian Dollar, then GBP1.10 per figure seems not such a hit.
And of course RSMs are looking very attractive indeed, especially as I really like their Austrians.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Frank's new Austrian figures in another month or so. Having painted a 60 figure battalion of Prussians, I found the figure painting a most pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Yes, I agree - I'm just starting to play with the thought of some Austrians myself, although I really enjoy painting the RSM Austrians, especially the Grenadiers. Still, It will be nice to haveproper command instead of whatever i could bodge up with greenstuff and wire...
