From behind - you'll notice the Leib Grenadier Company has the bag of it's fur cap opver to the right, whie the others have theirs to the left. This is either a singular distinction accorded them as a mark of the status of the regiment or an error on the part of the milliner. You decide.
From the front, a further distinction of the Leib Regiment is their blue trousers. More commonly, the Alzheimer Foot has white small-clothes.

If the Duchy holds anything in common with His Majesty's troops in St. Maurice, the difference in bag placement may be less a matter of millinery inefficiency and more that of what we could "liberate" from our enemies at the time. A good looking unit all. Well done. - Mike
Agreed! Just the sort of thing to help me wake up this morning. Eager to see more as you add to the SSM collection.

could be like the way graduating students switch their tassels from one side to the other when they receive their diplomas
I'm going with a strong but localized gust of wind, coming down from the mountains. But if it occurred during a famous but now forgotten battle, it might have resulted in a regimental tradition.
Either way they look good.
