Le 45eme de Ligne

The 45th of the line which famously lost it's eagle at Waterloo to Sgt Ewart of the Scot's Greys.
Zvezda Command - the figures work together very well with the Waterloo 1815 rankers in my opinion.

I love the look of French infantry in the (early) morning. It's 5:38am here at the moment.

Best Regards,

Looks great. You don't often see a picture of a square as the men step off to wheel back into line.

I notice that the command figures are baseless. Did you cut them off to bring the height in line? The figures do seem to very compatible style-wise.

Very nice work, will you be doing any Greys to chase them?

Striker - in the fullness of time, yes.

Trag and Heinz, it's early here too, but not that early!

Thank-you Ross. The command figures are from the Zvezda "Art of Tactic" set which come with great, clunking bases the figures peg into. I merely drilled holes for their pegs in the base. The lack of integral bases makes them about half a millimeter or slightly more shorter than the rest, but they themselves are on quite thin bases.

Am I going to use more from the Art of Tactic range? Yes, yes I am.
