A Blog dedicated to the creation of my Seven Years' War Army in miniature. Among other things!
Still, I have made a little progress as you can see.
I'm aiming to finish them off over the weekend.
Wish me luck!
Lovely! Coming along very nicely.Kind Regards,Stokes
I have to echo Stokes' remarks, we all have slow painting preiods as life has a way of butting into one's plans.
Lovely work so far, the standards are stunning. Good luck on finishing them, I look forward to seeing them.
I like the hand painted flags. It makes it more personal I feel. I never felt that until I painted my French Napoleonic ones. Curious isn't it?
Thanks for all the kind words.Painting them has been a bit like what I imagine painting flats would be like.White undercoat, a wash of a light gray and then thin glazes of colour over the top, perhaps with a little highlighting to finish up.
