The Army in Review.

An annual event here at the Duchy of Alzheim is a review of the royal army. Here it parades in full battle array, Infantry in two lines in the centre, cavalry on the flanks. One regiment of foot is absent, being the Royal Languedoc Regiment - away guarding the fortifications should a sneaky enemy try a surprise attack.

Greg,

Nice job! Great inspiration for the rest of us.

Thanks to your blog pictures, I have managed to get myself going and paint 4.5 foot units of 12 figures. 1.5 horse units of 6 figures also completed. Not nearly as well done as yours, but I'm working on it.

Keep painting. Keep posting pictures.

You have started a new fad, did you know.

"Blogging about small fictitious 18th Century countries at war with other small fictitious 18th Century countries."

Congratulations. You are a trendsetter. I have five blogs marked now, and expect to see a few more.

Greg,

Most Excellent! In a few short months I should be able to field an army roughly 1/3 the current size of yours! LOL!

Keep up the great work, especially the conversions!
