The Etat-Major

I want a fort here. And another here and a battery there.

A gruff old Mestre de Camp lays it all out for a young colonial engineer.

Do you think anyone is watching?
At least it's shady under the trees.

Excellent work which is more than I can say for the England cricket team currently.
I am cheering myself up with the Big Bash League commentary on the wireless.

Thanks very much.

Yes, I think there have been some poor selections for the English team. I hope they manage to pull it together for the Boxing Day Test.

I don't know about cricket (haven't played in 40 years), but this is a wonderful vignette! Is the table a casting, or scratch-built?

Seasonal Regards,

Stokes

Thank-you Stokes.

The table is a Barry Minot item from long ago. I think I have the Napoleon who was meant to be glowering over it somewhere about the place.

Merry Christmas.

Thank-you David.

I am churning thru the grassy tufts at a terrifying rate.
